Nothing says spring like an outdoor festival. Middle Tennessee has some of the most fabulous springtime weather in the country, so it’s no surprise that Williamson County’s annual Main Street Festival attracts over 120,000 visitors over the course of the weekend.
This year’s festival is right around the corner on April 23 and 24, 2016, so get ready for a great time!
Food and Drink at the Main Street Festival
More than 20 food and drink vendors will be joining us this year, so you’re sure to find plenty of tasty treats. You’ll find freshly prepared international flavors from far and wide, so be sure to come hungry!
Find Arts and Crafts at Franklin’s Main Street Festival
Considered by many to be the festival’s main event, the juried arts and crafts show will feature around 200 artisans displaying and selling original, handcrafted wares. You’ll find:
- Paintings and drawings
- Home and garden décor
- Stained glass
…and much more as you peruse the booths along Mains Street between First and Fifth Avenues.
In addition to the arts and crafts on display, there will be a special area of kids’ activities and crafts on Third Avenue South, between the Old Courthouse and City Hall. Be sure to stop by with your little ones—and keep your camera handy to capture the fun.
Franklin’s Family Fun at the Main Street Festival
Two stages of continuous entertainment will delight visitors throughout the weekend. Live performances by local musicians and groups provide a festive, family-friendly soundtrack to your festival weekend. It’s sure to be a toe-tappin’ good time!
